Bensa is situated in the Sidamo region, approximately 450 km from Ethiopia’s capital, Addis Ababa. Variety 74158, named by the Jimma Agriculture Research Center, is a well-balanced coffee with a smooth body. This lot comprises beans from various coffee farmers in the region.

The coffee was sun-dried on raised beds. This design allows the coffee beans to dry evenly over 10-14 days until they reach the ideal moisture level.

We've chosen to roast this coffee on the lighter side of a medium roast, allowing the unique flavours and aromas to shine.  Distinct notes of nectarine and black tea punctuate this coffee with a subtle toffee sweetness.  The smooth oily texture is balanced with juicy sweetness and acidity. It’s sweet and long-lasting on the palette and produces amazing aromas of floral Jasmine blossom and berry sweetness.

    Only available in 200g bags.
